This swatch is a combination of 100% wool yarn and a novelty  yarn containing brown non-felting fiber and a thread of gold lurex.  The resulting fabric is highly textured and fairly rough to the touch. The wool content enables the fabric to felt (only animal fibers felt) and the novelty yarn provides the texture and subtle bling. Not familiar with the felting process?  Click here About Felted Wool

The Lending Library
To enable customer who are not familiar with felted wool to see and feel the material before making a purchase, we offer 3" x 3" swaches of each type of felt we make. Because of the wide range of colors we offer, we cannot at present offer swatches in every color. Each  swatch initially costs $4 plus $2 shipping. When you return a swatch from the swatch lending library, we will refund the $4 purchase price (but not the shipping). You may also keep the swatch for the $4 price, if you prefer.
